Luyện nghe bài hát Old Doc Brown

He was an old country doctor
In a country town
Fame and had passed him by
Though we never saw him

As day by day in his way
He'd us one and all
a patient forgot to pay
Although Doc's fees were

Though he his dimes and there were
Times that he'd a fee
pass it onto some poor soul
That it worse than he

He had to sell his
pay his office rent
So to a dusty room a livery stable
Doc Brown and his went

And on the hitchin' post at the kerb
To his wares
He nailed a little sign that
"Doc Brown has upstairs"

And one day he answer
they knocked upon his door
Old Doc was layin' down
But his was no more

They him there in that old black suit
On his face was a of content
But all the money they could on him
Was a and a copper cent

So opened up his ledger
And what they saw gave their a pull
Beside debtor's name old Doc
Had these words, "Paid in full"

Old Doc had
A funeral enough for a king
It's a joke our town was broke
And no one give a thing

Jones an undertaker
He did well
Donated an old iron
He had never been able to

And the funeral
It wasn't much for grace and and the style
But those loads of mourners
They stretched out for more a mile

We wanted to him a monument
We kinda we owed him one
'Cause he made our a better place
For all the he'd done

We pulled up old hitchin' post
Doc had nailed a sign
We'd it white and to all of us
It certainly did fine

Now the and the snows
Have away our white trimmin's of paint
There ain't left but Doc's own sign
And that's gettin' faint

But you can see that old hitchin' post
As if in answer to our
Mutually tellin' the whole world
Doc has moved upstairs
