Luyện nghe bài hát La Rossa

(Hammill)

Lacking sleep and food and
here I am again, upon your floor,
craving and nourishment,
and sanctity and more.
The streets very crowded,
I put on my bravest
I know you know I am acting,
I can see it in eyes.
In the harsh light of freedom I
that I cannot deny that I wasted time,
have frittered it away in idle
of my and fidelity,
when simpler words would profited me
most...
...it isn't enough in the end, when I'm
for hope.
Though the organ-monkey
as the pipes begin to
still he'll go through the dance
just as long as he they'll fit,
just as as he knows that it's dance, smile-
or quit.

Like the monkey I to a strange tune
when all of these years I've longed to lie you,
I've myself down in the web of talk,
quack and sophistry-
at physiciality always baulked,
like the man in the chair who it's
him to walk.
I've been hiding words,
fearing a deeper exists,
faintly aware of the
of opportunities I missed.
But the nearness and the of you,
La Rossa from to toe...
I don't what I'm telling you,
but I think you to know
the dam wall will break, soon the water
flow.
Though the groans
as the plays
hoping, at the most,
for an end to his dancing
still he hops up and on his perch
in the jerky way.
Though it might an end to all friendship
something I'm working up to say.

Think of me what you
I know that you think you my pain-
no if that's just the surface.
If we made now would that change all
that has before?
Of course it would, there's no way it ever
be the same...
one more crossed,
one more explained.
Now I need more than just words,
the options are plain that lead all
action.
If we love now it will change all
is yet to be...
never could we agree in the way again.
One more lost,
one heaven gained.

La Rossa, you me, you read me as though
I am
though I know it there's no no way in I can

though it that you'll finish my story
at I'd trade all the clever talk,
the joking, the and the quips,
all the conversations, all the friendship,
all the words and all the
for the warmth of body,
the vivid touch of your lips.
All bridges behind me,
all beyond reach,
the monkey feels his out blindly,
only to himself released.

Take me, take me now and me deep
inside ocean body,
wash me as flotsam to the shore,
there me lying evermore!
Drown me, me now and hold me down
before your hunger,
burn me at the altar of the
me life!
