BRIEF HISTORY OF THYME ESSENTIAL OIL

• Thyme's usefulness dates all the way back to ancient Egypt, when it was used for embalming. 
• Historically, the oil from the plant was used to treat poisoning in the body and to alleviate associated pain. 
• Additionally, this oil has been used to treat bronchitis, sore throats, and bedwetting, as well as to stimulate urination.

• Individuals with high blood pressure should exercise extreme caution when using the oil.
• Pregnant women, children under the age of 18 months, and lactating mothers should never use Thyme oil unless advised by a physician.
