Previous studies have shown a link between high AKI and AKB with maternal health behavior. Mother 's health and parenting behavior are influenced by a number of factors, both from supply side and demand-side users. It is a service provider, such as healthcare facilities (infrastructure, healthcare, and healthcare services) and quality of service. From the user 's point of view, mother' s health behavior and parenting patterns are closely related to social, economic and cultural factors, such as age, education, employment, ethnicity, female autonomy to her, household economic abilities, husband 's work, The number of children as well as customs and culture in the community is related to maternal mother 's health behavior.

The book is a study of maternal health behavior and child care patterns in Medan city. In detail, the book describes the mother 's health behavior seen through the use of health services during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods as well as the application of child care patterns through exclusive breast feeding, MP-ation, and immunization.
