The ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher is a multi-purpose extinguisher suitable for extinguishing Classes A, B & C fires. They are widely used in commercial buildings, industrial plants, workshops, laboratories, schools, cars, and homes.

The dry powder extinguishes the fire by a chemical reaction with the flame. When applied to hot and smoldering surfaces, the particles swell to form a barrier to snuff out oxygen, from the source fire, thus preventing re-ignition. Besides being a poor conductor of electricity, the dry powder has the ability to provide the operator with a heat shield and has a fast knock out effect.
