Chickpea, or more popularly known as garbanzo bean, is a legume of the family Fabaceae. Staple in many diets worldwide, chickpeas are highly nutritious and filling.

HEALTHY CRUNCHY CHICKPEA RECIPE
2 cups dried chickpeas
Water for soaking
Olive oil
Seasonings (salt, pepper)
1. Soak chickpeas overnight in water.
2. Spread chickpeas flat in a baking tray.
3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
4. Bake in a oven at 230 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes until brown and crunchy.
5. Munch away! You may also use these as a gluten-free alternative to salad croutons.
