Color and texture of coco peat depend on the coco log that was used. Aged coco logs produce dark peat/turf, thus the difference. Seller has no control over the variation delivered by the supplier but we ensure that our products are of the best quality.

TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION
• Coconut coir dust (also known as cocopeat, coir waste or fiber dust) consists of short spongy fibers and dust which are by-product in the processing of husk to coir fiber.
• Coir dust retains water firmly, holding it 8-9 times its weight and slowly releases
water to the plant through its feeding roots. 

ADVANTAGES
• Makes the crop tolerant to drought because of its high water - holding capacity, thus, minimizing the
depressive effect of drought on crop physiology and yield.
• Creates favorable soil structure when applied as mulch.
• Supplies some nutrients i.e. macronutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Cl, Na) and micronutrients (Zn, B, Fe, Mn, Cu) necessary for plant growth.
• Provides for good medium for nursery seednuts and seedlings.
• Generates rural jobs and gives additional income to coconut farmers.

The mixture of differently sized particles in loam soil is ideal for air and water flow and for root penetration.
Loam soils contain enough sand to drain water but enough clay and silt to hold the moisture needed by many kinds of plants.
What is loam soil good for?
Loam soils generally contain more nutrients, moisture, and humus than sandy soils, have better drainage and infiltration of water and air than silt and clay-rich soils, and are easier to till than clay soils. Loam soil is suitable for growing most plant varieties
