The filtration efficiency of this product is within the range 25% to 30% without compromising the volume of air that will pass through it compared to stock filter rated at 15% to 20% and is disposable immediately after use. This washable car cabin air-conditioning filter is designed to be re-used up to more than 5 times at every 10,000 kilometer intervals. Remove the cabin filter from the filter housing, normally located behind the glove compartment (Check my Youtube Channel "Project Keyps". I have a video on how to remove cabin filter for fortuner, which is basically almost the same for hilux and innova.) 2. Remove the cover of the filter housing. 3. Take out the filter carefully. 4. Air, Vacuum or dust the filter from the dirty side (dirty side = the side WITHOUT the wire backing support) 5. Soap it (DO NOT SCRUB / sway it to a soapy water), dishwashing liquid can be used, do not use solvent. 6. Rinse it using low pressure water from the clean side (clean side = the side WITH wire backing support). 7. Let it dry, force drying can be done but like other filters, air drying is recommended. 8. Insert the cleaned filter into the housing. Make sure that the orientation is correct (Torque sticker is facing you and the side with the wire backing support is on top) Notes: Though the filter can be re-used and washed, it all depends on how the owner would like to clean and how rough will it be washed to extend its serviceable life. It is important to keep in mind that to maintain your air conditioner filter more efficient the more often it will need to be cleaned.
