Fronted by Cesar 'Saro' Banares, Mike Pillora, Lolita Carbon, and later Pendong Aban, ASIN was the folk rock super group of their time. The latter also featured Asin's knack for imbuing their recordings with the use of indigenous instruments which they further mastered on later albums. Lolita Carbon voice-considered as one of the best and most distinct in OPM Pinoy rock and folk, it as the fullness of youth and at its finest as she renders beautiful rondalla and string reflected "Pagbabalik," And Saro, one of the finest tunesmiths from the South, admonishes the cautionary folk of " Sayang Ka."
