The grapes of Terrazas Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from specially selected terraces in the top quality districts of Mendoza at 1,067 metres above sea level. This dark-hued, inky red garnet colored wine is intense and bright, with lots of structure and outstanding tannins. This wine has an aroma resembling cherry and strawberry jam, with delicate hints of fresh lavender and bay leaf. It presents a soft vanilla, tobacco and toasted oak finish, due to12-months spent ageing in French oak barrels. A straightforward mouthfeel yet still quite exuberant, the red fruits and spices stand out on the palate. A wonderful acidity enhances the balance, making for a lovely long suave finish.
