Sapporo Ichiban series was introduced in the 60s, the same year the Beatles came to Japan for the first time! It was modelled on ramen at a small shop in Sapporo, hence its naming. 40 years on, the series include 18 different types including the original soy sauce, miso, salt and tonkotsu flavours. Sapporo Ichiban Shio Instant Ramen has a light but rich broth made with vegetables, chicken, pork and spices. Shio (salt in Japanese) is used to enhance and bring out all the flavors of the ingredients carefully blended to make the clear soup.
