PROXANTEL DEWORMER
ANTHELMINTIC
Formulation (each tablet contains) :
Febrantel - 150mg
Pyrantel Embonate - 144mg
Praziquantel - 50mg
Indications:
A broad spectrum dewormer that controls:
- Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascarisleonina)
- Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
- Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, A. braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala)
- Tapeworms (Dipylidium canicum, Taenia ovis, T. hydatigena, T. pisiformis and Echinococcus granulosus)
Dosage and Administration:
DOGS:
* 1 tablet/10 kg bodyweight
* Treat dogs in hydatid areas at least every 6 weeks.
* For the control of tapeworms, treat every 3 months.
* For the control of roundworms and hookworms , treat at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks
and then every 3 months.
* For whipworms, treat every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age.
**CATS: 1 tablet/5kg body weight
