Product Description
Polycotton is a blend of polyester and cotton.
Due to its polyester components, the product will be durable and sturdy. While the cotton components, make it softer than pure polyester thread and slightly breathable. These makes this yarn perfect for pouches, bags and even wearables.
The cons for using this material for wearables is that it may be a bit irritating or itchy to the skin for some people with high sensitivity to synthetic materials. Also, due to the synthetic materials, this yarn may not be as moisture absorbent as the pure cotton yarns.
Polycotton is also heavier than the acrylic yarns.
