Install jamb bracket with 4 long screws at top of door jamb. Allow 1/4" from door to bracket and 1/2" from head jamb. 2. Slip hold-open washer onto rod, pull rod out and position washer behind lugs. Close door, slip end of rod into bracket and insert pin. 3. Attach door bracket to closer with long pin in front hole. 4. With door tightly closed and latched, place closer and bracket on door in level position; fasten to door with2 short screws. 5. Move hold-open washer back of lug on rod. 6. Closing speed can be adjusted by turning the adjustment valve on the end of closer.
