Salbutamol + Bromhexine + Guaifenesin (Pecof SF) Syrup will be useful in the following disorders: Bronchial Asthma, Emphysema, Atelectasis, Acute and Chronic Bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Whooping Cough, Pneumonia, Other Broncho-Spastic conditions.
Each uncoated tablet contains:
Salbutamol (as sulfate),BP.........2mg
Bromhexine HCl..........................8mg
Guaifenesin................................100mg
Pecof Tablet is used to prevent & treat wheezing, narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, and coughing caused by lung diseases such as asthma, and long-term obstructive pulmonary disease. This medicine works by relaxing and opening the muscles of the airways. Pecof is also used to treat damaged and enlarged air sacs of the lungs and long-term inflammation of the bronchial tubes.
It leads to relaxation of smooth muscle in the lungs, dilation and opening of the airways.
Dosage and Administration:
Adult: 1 tablet 3 times daily
