Locally grown and cultivated in the Highlands of Bukidnon, our Adlai is of "Tapuy" variety which provides a soft chewy, mildly sweet and earthy flavor somewhat similar to the regular white rice. Adlai, also known as Job's tear, is a high fiber, low glycemic, gluten-free grain. Best for people who want to lower their cholesterol and blood sugar. It's a great meal on its own, can be used for soups/salads, or as a base for a variety of colorful recipes. A healthy gluten-free alternative for dieters who loves white rice and pasta. How to cook : Rinse grains and boil 1 cup of Adlai to 2 cups of water. Adjust water volume for grain density preference. Add more liquid for softer texture.
