Able to reach lengths of between 20 and 30 feet, the passion vine (Passifloraceae edulis) is a subtropical fruit native to portions of southern Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Ideal for U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 6 through 10, the passion vine yields fruit that can range in color from yellow to purple. Save the seeds from your passion vine harvest and use them to create even more beautiful, bountiful vines on your property.
