Direction For Use: New Surface: Wood or Metal. For closed grained wood or for metal, apply Super Clear Gloss Varnished thinned 20% with paint thinner or pure turpentine. Allow first coat to dry hard then sand lightly with very fine sandpaper. Apply one or more finishing coats as necessary. For best result, on coarse or open grained wood, first apply paste filler, dry hard ten sandpaper. Apply one or more coats of Super Clear Gloss Varnish as necessary. Old Surface: Clean surface with soap and water, rinse and allow to dry thoroughly. If surface has been previously waxed or oiled, wash with turpentine, sandpaper until surface is smooth and the proceed application as with new surface. Linoleum: Clean surface well. If previously waxed, removed old wax with turpentine then apply one or two coats of Super Clear Gloss Varnish.
