Aside from intensively cleansing and disinfecting the skin from wide range of external environmental contaminants, it also prevents from endogenous infections which originates from the patient's own skin environment. Size Availability: 1 Gallon Indications: Healthcare Practitioner Routine Hand Wash Patient antiseptic bath Body odor and skin disease control Wound Wash Acne Control Surgical Hand and Body Scrub (Pre and Post Surgery) Directions for Use: Wet the skin, and work enough amount into lather. Rinse thoroughly (Use of a washcloth and bath sponge are optional during shower). For healthcare practitioner hand washing: Use undiluted solution. Wet hands. Apply product and scrub for at least 30 seconds then rinse thoroughly. Use before and after performing invasive procedures and use also regularly while inside the premises of health facilities. For bathing: Use undiluted solution. Wet the body. Pour sufficient amount and work into a lather (usage of wash cloth or bath sponge is optional). Rinse thoroughly. Pat the body dry. Usage of any cosmetics such as lotion or creams after bathing is not encouraged. For patients: Follow the previous washing procedure. Recommended to use three days prior and on the day of the surgical schedule before entering the operating room. For healthcare practitioners: Follow the previous washing procedure. Recommended to use two to three times a week before and after going to work as overall body decontaminating wash. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine or to any of the ingredients.
