ARABICA COFFEE Robusta has more caffeine compared to Arabica. Robusta bean has 2.7% caffeine content, almost double the 1.5% of Arabica. Arabica beans tend to have a sweeter, softer taste, with tones of sugar, fruit, and berries. Their acidity is higher, with that winey taste that characterizes coffee with excellent acidity. Robusta has a stronger, harsher taste, with a grain-like overtone and peanutty aftertaste. ☕️WHAT COFFEE SUITS YOU? DARK ROAST Roasting coffee not only changes the color, aroma and flavor of the bean, but also changes the acidity level, caffeine level and body of the coffee. If you like high acidity, light body, high caffeine, and like enjoy the flavor characteristics of the varietal’s region then, “pick the light roast”. If you like smoky bitter taste of coffee with low acidity, low caffeine and full body then go for the darker roast. So What’s your Shade? COFFEE is good for 5-6 months from roasting date as long as stored properly. How? Keep your coffee away from light and heat. Yep, no to clear container. Use opaque containers or put the coffee at the cupboard. Avoid exposing to heat (direct from sunlight or near the stove) and keep the container sealed after scooping ground for your brew. All these will keep freshness longer. PLEASE RECYCLE Let us help Mother Earth by recycling our resources. Kindly reuse the used coffee grounds; if the foil you’ve receive is still in good condition, you may use it again when you refill your coffee grounds/beans.
