The nozzle protection clip should be removed before the ink cartridge is applied to the machine (for some products), the tail (air vent seal) on the nozzle of the cartridge must also be torn off. 2. When replacing a new cartridge, clean the printhead before the original cartridge runs out of ink. 3. After installing the cartridge, let the cartridge stay in the cartridge for 5 minutes.
