Every product in the Kayanoya Dashi line uses carefully-selected, Japan domestically-grown ingredients. They visit the place where the ingredients are grown ourselves, meet with the growers, and share in the ideas and convictions that go into growing. (Line-ups) <Kayanoya Original Dashi> 8 g × 30 packet This consists of konbu, bonito flakes, round herring, and grilled ago (flying fish),powdered and packaged to create a true Japanese dashi. It is useful for a variety of dishes, including miso soup and stews. <Vegetable Dashi> 8 g × 24 packet A consomme-style dashi made from powdered vegetables. It is made with 5 different vegetables: onion, garlic, celery, carrot, and cabbage. You can use it to season soups, or pasta. <Niboshi Dashi> 8 g × 30 packet A traditional Japanese dashi made from dried sardines that recalls the traditional sardine taste of the past. With the addition of grilled ago, round herring, Japanese kelp, and dried shiitake mushrooms, it makes an ideal dashi for miso soup or old-fashioned stews. <Chicken Dashi> 8 g × 18 packet A dashi made from dried Japanese chicken finished like flakes of dried bonito. It has a more refreshing and gentle flavor compared to ordinary chicken bone soup. With no potherbs, it has no strong taste or flavor. You can use it for a variety of uses, including Chinese, Japanese, and Western dishes. <Low Sodium Kayanoya Dashi> 8 g × 27 packet This version has more of the bonito flakes you expect from Kayanoya Dashi, and 53% less sodium than regular Kayanoya Dashi. We highly recommend it for anyone who is limiting their sodium intake for health reasons <Low Sodium Vegetable Dashi> 8 g × 22 packet The same ingredients as our regular vegetable dashi, with 67% less sodium. With a subtle umami and gentle body, this dashi goes well with a variety of boiled foods. It is ideal for those who wish to add flavor to food while being health-conscious. <Mushroom Dashi> 8 g × 20 packet A well-balanced blend of powders made from Japan domestically produced dried shiitake mushrooms and dried maitake mushrooms. Ideal for noodle dishes and takikomi-gohan(rice seasoned and cooked with various ingredients) <Kombu Kelp Dashi> 6 g × 24 packet The main ingredients are sweet Japanese Kelp grown in the southern part of Hokkaido and Rishiri kelp harvested in Rishiri Island that has an elegant aroma and a clear umami flavor.
