DESCRIPTION: BOYSEN® Automotive Lacquer is a nitrocellulose-based, high gloss, lacquer type paint that is easy to apply, dries rapidly to a long-wearing attractive finish. PRINCIPAL USES: For indoor wood and metal surfaces such as doors, doorjambs, cabinets, and shelves. SURFACE DRY: 10 minutes DRY THROUGH: 30 minutes DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 mils / coat OVERCOATING INTERVAL: 1 hour APPLICATION: by spray or natural hair brush (camel hair paint brush) THINNING: BOYSEN® Lacquer Thinner #50 PACKAGING: 4-liter and 1-liter cans SURFACE PREPARATION: Wire brush or scrape rusted metals and apply BOYSEN® Metal Etching Solution #71 to remove all rust. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to wash off surface thoroughly with water, letting it dry before applying paint. Prime immediately after drying.
