Product Description

Blueberries are heralded as a super food - extremely nutritious and, also, high in flavonoids which have been shown to reduce the damaging effects of oxidation and inflammation, allowing the body to fight off diseases. ***Blueberries do not self pollinate meaning, they are, rather, unpredictable and their offsprings do not duplicate the parent. Bonsai... outdoor blooming plants... succulent plant... subtropics... pots or containers... How to germinate the seeds: 1. Blueberry seeds must be scarified. Place them in a damp paper towel and put them in the freezer for 90days. Cold stratification will break the seeds’ rest period to make them ready for planting. Once the 90days have elapsed, the seeds can be used immediately or kept in the freezer until you are ready to plant them. 2. Plant the seeds in dampened coco coir in seed trays and cover them with 1/4” if soil. Keep the medium consistently moist. Be patient; blueberry seed planting may take 6-8weeks to germinate, some not even for 3months. Keep the seeds in a warm, sunny area 60-70F/15-21C). Once germinated, the resulting blueberry seedlings will look like grass with a few tiny leaves atop. During the first year, the seedlings may get no taller than 5-6” in height. When the blueberry plant is big enough to be transplanted, move them into pots in a sunny, warm area and keep moist. The growing blueberry seed plants can be fertilised with a liquid fertilizer after 2-3weeks in their pots. The resulting blueberry bush seed plant will bear fruit on its second year when the plant is 1-2feet tall. It will bear significant fruits as years passes by enough to supply you for decades.
