Product Description

Crossfire tennis hybrid string set® The new monoguttm of ashaway racket strings offers a unique combination of endurance, playability, and voltage detention. This set is ideal for hard hitter who wants soft string play and power player who seeks longer-lasting hybrids. The hybrid set is the ashaway monogut tennis string, a multi-polimer monofilament that offers resistance to traditional monofilament strings and synthetic intestinal responsiveness, all in one string. It is designed to withstand aggressive games, while providing good taste and control. A 16l (1.27 mm) monogut gage source of electricity worked together with a crossover of a 16 (1.30 mm) measuring synthetic intestine to produce a more playable string bearing. This combination provides a durable hybrid that is not as strong as aramid hybrids. Crossings of synthetic intestines are produced with layers of abrasion resistant wear to withstand indentations and offer easy splicing. It is made in the united states of america from sophisticated nylon polymers, for a soft playback than most synthetic strings. Monogutic power sources are produced in germany according to ashaway specifications. The set includes a 23-foot (7 m) monogut in metallic silver and a 20-foot (6 m) synthetic cross in white. The recommended string voltage is up to 65 lbs (29.5 kg) for electricity and up to 70 lbs (32 kg) for crossover. Ashaway suggested that players assemble monogutic sources with a voltage of 10 20% less than usual, to achieve the best result. The ashaway racquet strings are made by ashaway line & twine mfg. Co., the only u.s. String manufacturer for tennis, squash, racquetball, and badminton. Operated by the crandall family since 1824, ashaway has been making racquet strings since 1949, and is responsible for several important technical innovations.
