It is made from a range of wonderfully conditioning oils and other natural ingredients to please body, mind, and soul! All are suitable for the face and body. Some contain essential oils or fragrance too. This is a luxury soap with a creamy lather! The olive oil and coconut oil in my soaps are edible quality which makes lovely pure soap. The main ingredients in the soaps are olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, and castor oil, so it is 100% vegetable oils making most of our soaps suitable for vegans. SENSITIVE SKIN? So many people today have dry, sensitive skin or skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. We have many reports that our soaps have helped people restore their skin to normal by using our soap. We do not use the cost-cutting ingredients that commercial soap producers use. TIPS ON USING YOUR NATURAL SOAP SHAMPOO BARS These natural shampoo bars work differently from the liquid shampoo in plastic bottles. You may find your hair loves it straight away but it can take up to 2 weeks for the hair to “detox” from all the other hair preparations we normally use, so please be patient while your hair adjusts to the new regime which is much better for your hair and skin and general health. 1) Lather the bar straight onto your hair or use hand to create lather and transfer to your hair. Both ways work just fine. You don’t need much as the lather is rich. 2) Rinse well with water. 3) Follow with a weak vinegar rinse, e.g. a tsp of apple cider vinegar (or any other vinegar or alternatively use 1 tsp concentrated lemon juice) in a large glass of warm water. This rinse will restore the natural PH balance of your hair; it closes the hair shaft and helps it shine. Rinse with fresh water. 4) After the rinse, you will notice that your hair feels “squeaky” clean and you may well be able to just comb through with a wide-toothed comb. If the hair is hard to comb through, follow with a hair conditioner but you may find you don’t even need conditioner as your hair adapts.
