It improves the cleaning power of laundry detergents in heavily soiled laundry. Alkali may be added with detergent powder as a soaking solution. Effectively used in bleaching. Soak 2 kilos of laundries in the solution for atleast 2 hours. Wash the soaked items in the washing machine. Use the same procedure as above, but increase the dosage of Alkali.
