Product Description

ECOPET Wood Pellet Cat Litter - Eco-friendly and organic - Extremely absorbent - Made from softwood of Falcata trees - Biodegradable Benefits of ECOPET Wood Pellet Cat Litter: ✔ Our product is produced using sustainable practices as material is made from waste wood from the production of wood products. Being made of organic and biodegradable material, it is also very environment-friendly. ✔ No additional material is used in the pelleting process meaning that our product is 100% organic. ✔ Wood is heat treated in order to make sure that it is safe for commercial use. ✔ Softwood pellets are popularly used as cat litter, however this is often made of Pine wood. Our product does NOT use Pine wood as this may cause respiratory problems for your cat. ✔ Our product is highly absorbent which makes it effective in absorbing urine and neutralizing its smell. ✔ Wood pellets disintegrate into sawdust when soaked in liquid. This sawdust have larger and coarser pieces so it produces less dust than traditional clay litter. Instructions for use: 1. Fill your litterbox up to a depth 2-3 inches. Refrain from overfilling as wood expands when wet. 2. Solid waste will clump to the wood pellets. Wood pellets that absorb urine will disintegrate and turn into sawdust. 3. Clean your litter box as follows: Sifting litter box: shake the sifter for sawdust to fall to the bottom. Dispose of the sawdust. Sand litter box: shake the tray periodically for the sawdust to fall to the bottom. Dispose the compiled sawdust. 4. Refill the content of your litterbox approximately every 14 days depending on the usage. Disposal: Composted wood pellets can be disposed of in trash bags or used as fertilizer for plants. However, never use composted wood pellets used as cat litter as fertilizer for vegetables and other edible plants as these will be made unsafe for consumption due to parasites which may be present in your cat's excrement. Alternative Uses: Wood pellets can also be used as litter for other small pets like birds and rodents. Wood pellets as is can also be used immediately as compost for gardening.
