Product Description

1 Pc Super Strong Neodymium Bar Magnet Size: 20mm L x 20mm W x 5mm Thk Nickel Coated, Suitable up to 80 degree Celsius 1. A neodymium magnet also known as NdFeB, NIB or Neo magnet is the most widely used type of rare earth magnet. 2. It is a permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron to form the Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystalline structure. 3. Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet available commercially. 4. Neodymium magnets are graded according to their maximum energy product which relates to the magnetic flux output per unit volume. 5. Special neodymium magnet alloys that include terbium and dysprosium have been developed that the higher Curie temperature, allowing them to tolerate higher temperatures. 6. In cooler temperatures, neodymium magnets will be fine. 7. The powerful round magnets can be put to a wide variety of uses with applications across educational, household or business segments. 8. Could be used as refrigerator magnets, for hanging artwork, performing some scientific experiments, holding festive lighting, other decor items, tools, keys, and even for healing pain through magnetic therapy. 9. Neodymium magnets have higher remanence, much higher coercivity and energy product, but often lower Curie temperature than the other types of magnets. 10. These rare earth magnets are made from alloys of rare earth elements, and are strongest types of magnets which do not lose their magnetism over time upon accidental drops. 11. The most common grades of neodymium magnets are N35, N38, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50, N52 and N55. 12. The first letter N before the values is short for neodymium, meaning sintered NdFeB magnets. 13. Letters following the values indicate intrinsic coercivity and maximum operating temperatures which range from default up to 80 degree Celsius or 176 Fahrenheit to AH 230 degree Celsius or 446 degree Fahrenheit. 14. Sintered NdFeB magnets tend to be vulnerable to corrosion. 15. The greater forces exerted by rare-earth magnets create hazards that may occur with other types of magnet. 16. Neodymium magnets larger than a few cubic centimeters are strong enough to cause injuries to body parts pinched between two magnets, or a magnet and a ferrous metal surface, even causing broken bones. 17. Neodymium material is brittle and prone to chipping and cracking. 18. Neodymium magnets are over 10x stronger than the strongest ceramic magnets. 19. There are variety of options for coatings, but nickel is the most common and usually preferred. 20. This neodymium permanent magnet is made of Super Strong NdFeB magnet.
